The word has spread, and over the course of two short years and about a thousand gigs, garage rockers Crocodylus have rapidly become one of Sydney’s most in-demand bands.
In the last year alone, the band has played with the likes of Hockey Dad, ORB, The Lemon Twigs (USA), The Bennies, Dear Seattle, Hideous Sun Demon and more, in addition to festival appearances at Sounds of the Suburbs, NYE on The Hill and Sweaty Palms. Not to mention their relentless touring schedule, supporting the likes of The Ruminaters, The Pinheads x Drunk Mums, Los Tones and Los Scallywaggs.
2017 saw the band put out their now crowd-favourite EP ‘Christian Syrups’, a release which was supported with back-to-back tours; first as headliner, then as main support for surf-rockers Skegss on their 11-date, ‘No Future’ run. With the Skegss tour wrapping up in early 2018, promptly followed by a 10-date tour with The Ruminaters, Crocodylus capped off the financial year with the release of their infectious single ‘My Love’, selling out launch shows at The Lansdowne (Sydney) and The Tote (Melbourne).
Somehow finding the time between a staggering amount of shows, the group are now working on their debut album and with more exciting plans to come for the year. In other words, Crocodylus show no sign of slowing down. Comprised of high school friends Joshua Williams, Stephen Sacco and Mikel Salvador, Crocodylus is a tour de force, a bad influence shouting you another round of beer, and a damn good time.
